- Abstract
The article focuses on the technological innovation and productivity growth in the U.S. It says that productivity growth is the key economic indicator of innovation. It discusses the impact of investment in information technology (IT) equipment and software on economic growth. Several tables related to production from 1960-2007 are presented such as the aggregate reallocation effects and industry contribution to aggregate value-added and total factor productivity (TFP) growth.
