Abstract
The article reports on the collaboration by the World Health Organization (WHO) with other countries to examine the prevalence and causes of outbreaks of monkeypox. According to the WHO, the outbreaks in 11 countries are atypical as they occur in non-endemic countries. Also cited are the meetings organized by WHO like the Strategic & Technical Advisory Group on Infectious Hazards with Pandemic and Epidemic Potential (STAG-IH) meeting to tackle monkeypox.
