- Abstract
In this study, the combustion properties of three ply laminated wood material has been searched. In the produce of laminated wood material, scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) has been used for faces ply. Lime-tree (Morus alba L.), white mulberry (Tillia perfifolia Ehrh), white oak (Quercus petraea spp.) and Uludag fir (Abies bornmülleriana Mattf.) have been used for core ply of laminated wood. Prepared materials have been bonded with PVAc adhesive and tested according to the procedure of ASTM-E 69 standards. In conclusion, the highest weight loss, O2 rate and ash rate have been obtained in the laminated wood of which core ply consist of oak wood, the highest CO rate in scotch pine and Lime tree, the highest heat increase in control samples and the highest CO2 rate in white mulberry.
