- Abstract
The article examines the memory and meaning of the items in the Princeton University Archives' Memorabilia Collection in New Jersey. A group of items in the collection that stands out as example of resonance and wonder is that of the Society of the Claw which were purchased from Princeton missionaries in India. The resonance of the tiger claw charms is reflected by the Reunions and the determination of Princetonians to reward the forces of class spirit, loyalty and tradition. Among other Reunions-related items are cigarette packs, refrigerator magnets, pens, clothing and potato chip bags. The beer cans are considered special items since they are printed with images that reflect events the class experienced as undergraduates.
