- Abstract
The article discusses the waqfs of Saruca Pasha, who build the shipyard of Gallipoli, Turkey during the time of Sultan Yildirim Bayezid. It mentions that both rural and urban revenue sources were held by the waqf of Saruca Pasha. It adds that diverse income-yielding urban properties were posssessed by the waqf of Saruca Pasha which include shops in covered bazaar, bathhouse, and caravansary.
