- Abstract
The article discusses the growth of severe porcine epidemic diarrhoea (PED) in pigs in the U.S. It mentions the concern of the British pig industry on its outbreak in the country which was confirmed on May 16, 2013 and July 27, 2013. It also notes efforts in raising awareness among veterinary practitioners in Great Britain on the said virus along with its epidemiological movements and measures in reducing the risk of its incursion.
