Title
Wild birds.
Abstract
The article reports that necrotic oesophagitis was found in two chaffinches or Fringilla coelebs, a green-finch or Carduelis chloris and a yellowhammer or Emberiza citrinella from four sites in Scotland. According to the article, a similar increase in cases of presumed trichomonosis in garden birds was observed in May 2007. Meanwhile, lesions in the yellowhammer included yellowish deposits on the palate and oropharyngeal mucosa.
