- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 66-year-old female with psoriasis who developed total body erythroderma with generalized scaling after 2 months of taking metoprolol for new onset atrial fibrillation. Topics discussed include the differential diagnosis for erythroderma such as atopic dermatitis and drug eruptions, the result of her punch biopsy which showed psoriasiform dermatitis, and the medications that can trigger psoriasis flare, including lithium and beta-blockers.
