- Abstract
The article reports that the ruling of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) over the use of novel drugs for cancer treatment has denied access to new anti-cancer drugs. It is stated that the ruling has instigated an outcry for the cancer communities because they are being denied of their right to acquire expensive anti-cancer drugs. The article also discusses the reaction of doctors and the National Health Service (NHS) of Great Britain about the ruling.
