- Abstract
The article cites a research study that analyzes the efficacy of brace treatment in patients with idiopathic scoliosis (IS) above 45. It is said that positive results in bracing IS patients, who refused surgery, have been presented in a retrospective study. It was found that conservative brace treatment is a suitable alternative for those patients who reject any surgical intervention for IS.
