- Abstract
Theoretical and technical literature and that one related to acting is certainly not abundant in Spanish. It is in this vacancy that Jorge Eines shows up as an inquiry, a reflection but also as a way to structure the categories and procedures to create an effective stage presence capable of assisting a character composition, not subject to stereotypes, that can create expectancy. The Einesean proposal represents a framework of theoretical criteria and methodological outcomes of a special synthesis and overcoming of assumptions related to the Stanislavskian tradition. These are concepts, procedures and attitudes that derive from theatrology, philosophy and other disciplines that can be used to create characters, they inscribe the acting planning in potential poetics and techniques in order to shape a genuine ethics of artistic work. In this article, based on personal experiences with the Argentine theorist, professor and director, and on his eight distinctive publications, we present a brief itinerary through the fundamental ideas of his systematization.
