- Abstract
The article presents a research on long voting lines during the U.S. 2012 presidential elections. Topics discussed include public opinion polls in relation to the 2008 and 2012 U.S. presidential elections, the longer average waiting time for African American, Hispanic, and urban voters, consistently long waiting times in states like Florida, Virginia, and Maryland, and possible legislative measures that might be devised to reduce the length of voting queues.
