- Abstract
The economic crisis of 1929, which emerged from the effects of the great wars and reflections of the period in which the balance of economic power began to dissipate again, was effective for many years in all countries. starting with the United States, Europe and hence also the other side of the ocean waves emitted Turkey until the Great Depression, has also affected our country at least as much as other countries. Ottoman Empire's first employees to newly established by the breakdown after World War I and a huge debt legacy inherits a young Turkey, the liberal policies pursued before the economic crisis, crisis period has taken measures changing with more statist policies and the crisis has tried to overcome by preparing economic development plans. In the period when the Classical Approach was widespread, Keynes' views were seen as the gateway to the crisis. According to the Keynesian Approach, which states that state intervention is a condition for directing the economy, he argued that the politicians of the period did not intervene in the economy as the reason for the global spread of the crisis and brought criticism to the Classical Approach for many years and became an idea in economic policies for many years.
