- Abstract
The problem of the apostolicity of the Churches is a very important theme for the ecumenical journey. The article aims to outline, from a catholic point of view, an ecumenical reflection on apostolicity starting from Vatican II. It also suggests to face the problem according to the method of differentiated consensus. This approach holds as premise the acknowledgment of one same faith, shared in its fundamental elements, although there are different theological formulations that are not, however, to be read within the logic of contrast, but through the perspective of consensus within diversity. After pointing out the open problems, the differences and the difficulties, the article closes outlining the openings and the possible perspectives of dialogue between Churches.
