- Abstract
The article presents information on legal developments in marketing relative to the regulation of product characteristics. The case of Hoving Corporation v. Federal Trade Commission is explained. Hoving allegedly sold mink fur products which were made of waste products and were not adequately labeled under the Fur Products Labeling Act. The case primarily involves misbranding, false invoicing and deceptive advertising.
