- Abstract
The article presents information on legal developments in marketing relative to the regulation of channels of distribution. The article focuses on United States court cases pertaining to relations between buyers and sellers. In the case of New Orleans Cigarette Service Corp. v. Sicarelli, the Louisiana Court of Appeals found that Sicarelli was in violation of a contract he had signed into to only use New Orleans Cigarettes' vending machines when he installed competitors' vending machines the following year.
