- Abstract
Knowledge is briefly defined as the sum of what is known acquired through search, learning and observation. Asymmetric information, also known as "information failure", occurs when one party to an economic transaction possesses greater material knowledge than the other party. In some circumstances, asymmetric information may have genative consequences, such as adverse selection and moral hazard. Adverse selection is Derived from hidden nformation, while moral hazard is the result of hidden action. Moral hazard exists in many areas of the Daily life. Asymmetric information has been first defined in the economics. However, it is widely seen in Social life, media, politics, in particular everywhere in which information exchange is available. The lack of information about the responsibilities of the government officials is extremely important for the legal authorities who assing them in Public services and Private sector. Turkey has been undergoing drastic challenges and transformations in economy, Social life and politics for the last 40 years. On the other hand, these challenges have not been realized in organizational and managerial levels effectively. Contrarily, corruption, occlusion and degeneration have been continued in organizational and managerial areas. In this study, we aimed to investigate the situation of asymmetric information in politics and bureaucracy after financial markets, as well as inconveniences and countermeasures.
