MOSÈ, IL LEGISLATORE DI ISRAELE.
- Authors
Cardellini, Innocenzo
- Abstract
In accord with the more ancient Akkadian, Greek and Deuteronomic texts, Moses is presented as a mediator as well as the true legislator who promulgates concrete laws, even though they have to agree with the divine order of superior and primordial justice. However, in accord with the Priestly texts of the Old Testament, the pseudoepigraphs and the rabbinic literature, in as much as it is divinity itself that reveals this order of superior and primordial justice in history through specific formulas, Moses' role is limited to that of the conveyer of laws and the prophet who awaits the oracle.
