- Abstract
The social responsibility and the governance were under studies and thus subjects of discussions and controversy. They are the center of attention of many researches. These matters became more urgent to deal with as many financial scandals have affected the field of ethics and consequently it coasted a lot to stakeholders and shareholders. This paper studies the impact of governance on corporate social responsibility. Based on a sample of 200 Tunisian firms, our results show that governance has an effect on corporate social responsibility practices especially on its economic dimension. Nevertheless, the governance does not affect the non-economic dimension of corporate social responsibility.
