- Abstract
The article presents information on the economic problems of Argentina and the passing of convertibility law that provides fixed exchange rates for the currency of Argentina to the U.S. dollars thus keeping inflation static. The signing of bilateral investment treaties by Argentina facilitating foreign investment that offers protection against host-state derogation and national protection is discussed. The role of International Council of Societies of Industrial Design is also discussed.
