- Abstract
The article outlines the historical aspects of the forum non conveniens doctrine in regard to Latin America's aversion to the law. It presents the relevant procedural history of the Minnesota Supreme Court case Paulownia Plantations De Panama Corp. v. Rajamannan and examines the court's decision. It asserts that that the forum non conveniens doctrine has not expanded with changing global realities. It concludes that the court's decision in the case unfairly prejudiced the foreign plaintiff.
