- Abstract
The present article has as a theme the (re) articulation of the public policies of gender in Brazil based on the principle of subsidiarity and decentralization, in this way, it is analyzed how public policies of gender observe these two elements in this context. For the accomplishment of this study, it used the method of deductive approach and the method of historical procedure. As for the research technique, indirect documentation was used, through the bibliographic research and also the analysis of the national plans and national conferences of the public policies of gender. The study is structured in three parts. Firstly addresses the legal principle of subsidiarity, investigating its origin, its concept and meaning, as well as its legal implications in the brazilian context. Secondly, the analysis focuses on the theme of decentralization and its interrelationship with the legal principle of subsidiarity. Finally, the analysis of the articulation of the public policies of gender in Brazil is carried out from the national plans and conferences realized since the year of 2004. It was observed from the analysis of plans and conferences that the issue of subsidiarity, decentralization and even desconcentration are presents in the articulation of public policies of gender. In addition. Representing significant elements in bringing the population of all levels of the federal government closer to the process of elaborating these policies, making them more democratic and plural, as well as allowing a greater connection to the local realities to be met by such policies.
