- Abstract
The article focuses on the Konikovo Gospel, a bilingual manuscript aprakos or Sunday Gospel written in Greek letters with vernacular Greek side-by-side vernacular Macedonian and is considered as an idiom from the Aegean Macedonian dialect area of Lower Vardar. Topics discussed include the Konikovo Gospel's sociolinguistic implications and its possible Greek vernacular text that could possibly contribute to a more nuanced understanding of the spatiality of the Balkan's multilingualism.
