- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case of Gonzales v. Raich of 2005, popularly known as the medical marijuana case. It states that the court accused Raich on several basis including federalism and the constitutional division of power between the national and state governments. It further discusses another court case Bond v United States in which justice Anthony Kennedy deleivered a concise and powerful summary of the values of American federalism.
