- Abstract
The article discusses the role of three-dimensional printing technologies in creating high-quality prototype components for automotive and industrial products. Topics discussed include the materials used which are thermoplastics, polylactic acid, epoxies, and metal powders, the ways on how students may create and print their own 3-D modeling files, and the creation of the "3D Rover" which was designed using 3D design and modeling software.
