- Abstract
The author reflects on the human practices that tend to compromise economic living for their own benefit. He mentions incidences wherein act of evil is visible including the siphoning act of liquid chemical waste in the communal pond and rice paddies, and the pumping of industrial wastes into the city underground drainage. The author also adds that the acts were influenced by the evolution of modern science and technology and mentions the decline in faith toward Buddha.
