- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case NML Capital v. Argentina which deals with the enforcement of contracts udner the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA). A background of the case is provided wherein Argentina has stopped paying billions of debt from private and public creditors in 2001. Also explored are Argentina's default and subsequent litigation and the limits of the FSIA and contract enforcement.
