The article presents a case study of a 60-year-old man who sustained multiple injuries in an automobile crash. It describes his physical examination, the discovery of bleeding gastric ulcers, his surgery, pathological examination, and the diagnosis of gastrointestinal mucormycosis, a rare and often fatal disease.
