- Abstract
The article presents an examination into the rhetorical concept of corporate personhood as seen through the historiography and other writings of the community in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Details are given noting the historical significance of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation and the use of life writing genres to depict the firm. Topics addressed include accounts of memoirs and biographical writings that describe the life, death and soul of the corporation.
