- Abstract
Underestimation of extent of ischemia by gated SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging in patients with left main coronary artery disease. Among the positive aspects of this study are that there were angiographic data establishing the extent of CAD, and myocardial perfusion SDS and WT-SDS values were obtained quantitatively by automated algorithms,[31] rather than subjectively. Patients with severe ischemia (SDS U > u 8) had significantly higher WT-SDS than those with moderate ischemia (SDS 5 to 7), but LVEF did not differ.
