- Abstract
The article examines textual fraud in relation to vampire literature, with particular emphasis on Bram Stoker's lost version of "Dracula." Topics discussed include the fraudulently creative translations of "Dracula" in the Swedish version, the novel's preoccupation with textual reproduction, and the penchant of the authors of vampire literature to plagiarize each other's works during the 1870s.
