NEW DENTAL SCIENCE.
- Abstract
The article compares depth-gauge rotary instruments with freehand techniques in veneer preparation, finding that depth-gauge burs result in significantly lower preparation depths and fewer extreme depths, benefiting inexperienced operators. Topics discussed include morphology, prevalence, and restoration guidelines for non-carious cervical lesions, highlighting their multifactorial etiology and the recommendation for conservative treatment until restoration is necessary.
