- Abstract
In early 1977, data were collected from a USAF-wide survey of over 10,000 respondents ranging in grade from E-1 to O-6. In early 1980, data were collected from another similar USAF-wide survey with the same institution-occupation scales. The purpose of this paper is to compare the 1977 data with the 1980 data on both the institutional and occupational dimensions of the Moskos model Significantly higher occupational scores were observed for both officers and enlisted when comparing the 1980 data with the 1977 baseline. Few changes in institutional scores were observed.
