- Abstract
The article looks at the integration of Re-Education (Re-ED) model and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports for building strengths and success of students with emotional and behavioral disabilities in the U.S. Particular focus is given to the adoption of Renton Academy in Washington of the philosophical framework of therapeutic Re-ED, along with key information about the approach. It also discusses the principles of Re-ED and the result of Renton Academy's utilization of the approach.
