- Abstract
The article presents results of an annual survey conducted by researchers from the University of Michigan Survey Research Center and funded by the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse, which reveals the decline in number of illegal drugs and substances among students in the U.S. The survey explores the factors contributing to the decline of students taking illegal drugs such as marijuana, opioids and use of prescription drugs for recreational use. The survey also notes the decline in smoking.
