- Abstract
This article reports on the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) approach in social work education. This strengths-based pedagogical approach combines writing, learning, and thinking skills for students studying social work and social sciences. The article discusses effective teaching strategies to improve student writing skills and develop critical thinking processes. Information is also provided on the importance of writing for social workers, as well as on the history of WAC as a teaching strategy.
