- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that discusses extracellular concentration of dopamine (DA) in the nucleus accumbens (NAc) shell and basolateral amygdala (BLA) by ingestion of low concentration of a Long-Chain Fatty Acid (LCFA). Topics discussed include effect of mineral oil, corn oil and linoleic acid intake on DA level in NAc shell of rat, involvement of dopaminergic pathways in the nervous system and chemoreception study of fatty acids. It also mentions low concentration of LCFA in mice.
