Ein Dreierlei komplementärer Untersuchungsmethoden – hochauflösende Gasadsorption gekoppelt mit Dichtefunktionaltheorie, Rotationselektronenbeugung und Elektronentomographie – lieferte Einblicke in die Struktur und Konnektivität der Mesoporen in Zeolith ‐ Y mit bislang unerreichter Detailschärfe. Dieser Ansatz stellt einen beträchtlichen Fortschritt in der Strukturaufklärung von nanoporösen Feststoffen dar.
