- Title
Revisiting the Nuclear Power Option.
- Authors
Roman, Harry T.
- Abstract
The article discusses the challenges and importance of studying nuclear power as a power-generation option. Several factors that need to be considered before teaching nuclear power are cited, including the way they operate and the reasons for its controversial nature. Discussion and creativity can be stimulated with provocative questions about the possibility of building nuclear power plants underground and finding other uses of spent fuel. Teachers are also advised to encourage their students to have a deep understanding of the topic.
