NEMESIS BIRDS - REDUX.
- Authors
Williams, Glenn
- Abstract
The author describes some of the nemesis birds he had sighted on several bird watching occasions. As a novice birder, he saw a Yellow-breasted Chat in Massachusetts, over 100 miles from his home. Meanwhile, while he was among a line of five walking a wooded trail during his third or fourth Christmas count, he saw his first Northern Saw-whet Owl at face level in a bare cedar to the right of the path. He had also seen two Clay-colored sparrows, which is an annual bird in every New England state.
