- Abstract
In order to explore the applicability of non-destructive testing methods in the evaluation of freezing and thawing resistance of ultra -high performance concrete,different kinds of concrete mixtures were tested in the laboratory. The results show that the freeze-thaw prediction of ultrahigh performance concrete according to GOST 12730. 4-1978 standard is not accurate. By using ultrasonic pulse velocity and dynamic elastic modulus method to check the change of test performance on the whole sample volume, and calculate the dynamic elastic modulus, it is a more reliable method to measure the freeze-thaw resistance. This method provides more information about the changes in the deep structure of the material under test. The results provide theoretical support for nondestructive testing of freeze-thaw resistance of ultrahigh performance concrete.
