- Abstract
The article discusses the prevalence of pneumoconiosis or black lung to the coal workers in the U.S. It highlights the health risks of the increase abundance of harmful dust constituents from the rock being cut along with coal in the Appalachian mines. It also cites the importance to use a standard equipment for coal mines to ensure the health and safety of the miners.
