- Abstract
The article offers information on the importance of using books for children's learning development. It is argued that hearing a story told by a person is more effective than using a computer for reading. Some media of communication such as television and computer offers a certain knowledge, but reading a book is a more effective mean of learning, though it is inferred that encouraging children to read a book is more difficult. Criticism of television as a learning tool has focused on its content.
