- Abstract
In view of the shortcomings of the existing remote meter reading system, according to the latest scientific and technological achievements in the field of computer and communication, a networked remote meter reading system based on LoRa and GPRS is proposed. Its wireless intelligent gas meter terminal uses MSP430, an ultra-low power processor, to carry out intelligent design, thus completing gas meter data acquisition and processing;LoRa technology is adopted to set up a monitoring and control network, while the concentrator and management center realize remote data interaction through GPRS wireless communication network. The experimental results show that the system is faster, more reliable and more convenient than the traditional remote meter reading system. It can be widely used in the field of wireless remote meter reading.
