- Authors
Jialin QIAN
- Abstract
The article summarizes the Chinese oil shale business. It is said that the current economic downturn has not influenced the oil shale development in China because the country is now importing a large amount of crude oil as it believes that after the recession the world crude oil price would still rise. This year China hopes to maintain the production of shale oil at an average of 7600 bbl/d. Two oil shale power plants are continuing their operation in Huadian and Sechi.
