- Title
FOUR PORTRAITS OF BELIEF AND UNBELIEF.
- Authors
Kauper, Kate
- Abstract
This article explores how four preservice teachers' beliefs about religion frame their understanding of difference in schools and their intentions for their future classrooms. In a qualitative study that uses the methodology of portraiture, the author examines future social studies teachers' perceptions of how their personal religious beliefs serve as a subtle dimension of curriculum as they navigate their coursework in a teacher education program and the null curriculum of religious beliefs.
