- Abstract
The article focuses on a case of occupational depigmentation with cerium oxide. Occupational depigmentation has been noted for several years. Monobenzyl ether of hydraquinone and various alkyl phenols have been implicated as causes of depigmentation. These preparations are found in motor oils, detergents, germicides and deodorants. In this article, a case is discussed in which the patient who was working with Rhodox 76, developed depigmentation during work with the product.
