- Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the structures of Associations of Public Hospitals established as a result of organizational change in healthcare services occurred in the scope of Health Transformation Program and revealing how this new management pattern is perceived by managers. Semi-structured interview method was used as data-gathering tool. Data set was examined utilizing content analysis method in accordance with criteria which were defined by researchers. Managers stated that resources were used efficiently, service integrity was ensured and decentralization potentialities increased with reorganization according to findings obtained. Furthermore, increment of local centralization, decline in managerial effectiveness and flexibility of administrative structure were emphasized. In conclusion, it was seen that reaching its target of change process in healthcare systems is directly associated with knowledge levels, leadership and management styles of managers.
