- Abstract
The article discuses a study examining the relationship of perinatal testosterone with postnatal head circumference growth using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LCMS/MS). Topics include weak correlation between free testosterone levels derived by LCMS/MS, no statistically significant association between concentrations of testosterone from umbilical cord blood and percentage head circumference growth, and optimization of the LCMS/MS result to prevent cross-reacting agents.
