Cervical chondroid chordoma in a standard dachshund: a case report.
Abstract
The article presents a case of cervical chondroid chordoma in a 10 year old male standard dachshund. It is mentioned that dachshund presented with neck pain followed by gait disturbances and neurological examination, diagnostic imaging and computed tomography confirmed the neoplastic lesion around fourth cervical vertebrae. The surgery involving dorsal laminectomy procedure was performed, however, the dog was euthanised 25 months after the surgery.
